Big news and a little personal update…

When I moved to France in 2023 to launch my new company, Le Caméléon Bleu Boutique Holiday Rentals, it was a bold leap. This week, I was thrilled to learn that we’re finalists in the 2025 LCD Awards (Location Court Durée) in the City Trip category, for our Bordeaux Saint André apartment.

Although I’ve been managing short-term rentals since 2007, I’d previously done so remotely – from Australia, and later from my home in Morocco. Like many others, I moved with my family to France for the love of its culture and countryside lifestyle, while enjoying the incredible food and vibrant cultural life.

Since then, the business has grown steadily. I now manage more than 20 holiday rental properties across France and Morocco, focusing on homes full of charm and character. I collaborate with local teams – property managers, cleaners, and maintenance professionals – to keep everything running smoothly.

It’s not always easy – there’s a lot of juggling and a steady stream of questions! But despite the challenges, I truly love what I do.
