The Taste of Tuscany – Florence Cheese and Wine Tasting

Florence holiday rentals

No visit to Florence is complete without a visit to a traditional, family-run ‘enoteca‘ (wine bar). However, there are some enjoyable alternatives that take you out of the city.

There are many small-group tours through the beauty of Tuscany’s wine country. The countryside is stunning on the roads through vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees in the famed Chianti Classico region.  Along with visits to cellars and learning how wine is produced using traditional methods, you can try local Tuscan specialities such as cheese, salami, cured ham and bruschetta.

Originally from New Zealand, in the past decade I've renovated several properties, written a book ("A House in Fez"), and helped to start a library for children in the Fez Medina. I really enjoy helping our guests make the most of their holiday. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
