The house is comfortably furnished and has a calm, neutral decor.

The Neighbourhood

It’s a five-minute stroll to the shops and restaurants of Skaleta town. About 12 kilometres east of Rethymno, Skaleta Beach is a quiet spot, with sun beds and umbrellas available for rent. Water sports are also on offer in the area. For a taste of Cretan culture and nightlife, head for Rethymno by car or readily available public transport. It’s a small city with a lovely harbour and an Egyptian lighthouse.
